He was professional and clearly knowledgeable of the neighborhood of Santa Cruz. Despite it being a crowded day, he found great places to shoot. The vast majority of photos with no one in the background - a tough accomplishment in Seville. He made us feel comfortable and accommodated our style preferences. Gabriel is also a clear communicator which gave me peace of mind while planning a surprise proposal from abroad. He was on time and ready for the moment to capture perfectly. Gabriel delivered the gallery quickly. He gave us some extra photos at no additional cost and made the full 200+ gallery available online for download for an extra charge. We are very happy with the final result.

Gabriel absolutely captured our magical day. After seeing his Instagram page, I reached out to Gabriel. I explained that we were coming to Spain from New Mexico, USA, and that we were going to have a symbolic wedding ceremony. He helped us reserve an amazing restaurant, Casa Ozama, and he helped me with ideas from thousands of miles away. On our January wedding day, rain came pouring down! Our wedding party planned to walk from our hotel to the Plaza de España, but we didn’t plan for the rain. So, with umbrellas in tow, we walked and Gabriel captured our joyful jaunt along the Sevilla streets. Once we were in the plaza, Gabriel found the perfect location for a quick ceremony. After the ceremony, we took photos all over the beautiful historic site. After, Gabriel followed us to our restaurant for our reception dinner. Our day was soggy, but it was also spontaneous, romantic, and fun. Gabriel caught it all, and now we can forever remember this magical day with the photos he took. When I decided I would be proposing my girlfriend while in Sevilla, I hired Gabriel to be the photographer for both the surprise proposal and an official engagement Photoshoot the next day. From the beginning, Gabriel was extremely helpful in bouncing ideas around, suggesting the best time of day, logistics, etc. He provided the most specific instructions that I have ever received which were extremely helpful in making sure the moment was perfect! When the unpredictable Sevilla weather changed, my proposal time had to change due to pending thunderstorms. Gabriel was extremely understanding and helpful and very quickly helped come up with a plan B (pushed up the proposal to the morning instead of evening). He completely surprised my girlfriend and captured the very raw emotions of the moment. For the Photoshoot, he was comforting, helpful & very understanding of our likes/preferences. Gabriel is a natural! I was worried about the language barrier (Spanish and English) between Gabriel and I, but we had no issues. He speaks English! Gabriel is a great strategist to have on your side for the perfect surprise proposal. He has many great suggestions, so don't be afraid to ask him for tips. I was visiting Seville, Spain for a 5 days and wanted to capture my memories, the architechure, the history of this trip. I found Gabriel on Instragram after doing a lot of research. He explained all the packages he offered & what would work best with my needs. He answered ALL my questions...not knowing much about Spain! Gabriel Navas is as good as it gets for travel photography or engagement, wedding, surprise proposal photos, especially if you've never done a photoshoot. My fiancee and I decided to take our engagement photos in Seville and after endless research online and price comparison, went with Gabriel for his absolutely gorgeous portfolio and pricing, which, due to the number of locations and photos you receive, ended up being a better value than the mainstream but lesser quality services such as Photo Tours Seville.
We chose the 90-minute 2 location package and shot at the Barrio Santa Cruz and Plaza Espana. He arrived on time and took multiple set-ups at multiple locations at each spot. We lived in Barrio Santa Cruz and I can tell you he knows and shot at the best areas in the neighborhood. He has a very easygoing, sincere demeanor and directed us naturally. What I like the best about his style is that it is very natural and humanistic. None of the shots looked "too posed" and he had a tremendous gift with composition and angles that captured the grand beauty of both locations and also captured the essence of my fiancee and I in a way that didn't look staged and brought out the natural beauty in both of us.
The other exceptional quality of Gabriel's work is his post-processing and mastery of light, which makes everything look dramatic, romantic and flat out gorgeous. Between the composition, the strategic locations and post-processing, he can make anyone look like a movie star. We never took a photoshoot in our lives and was kind of nervous about how it turned out. I can tell you there is no reason to be nervous here as his skill makes you look the best you possibly will look. My only regret was all of the delicious foods I had in Spain for over a week before the shoot. I could have looked alot skinnier, haha!
Lastly, I debated between taking photos in Barcelona vs Seville and so glad I chose Seville. First, the city is so romantically beautiful and Barcelona, while interesting, has too many people everywhere and some locations like the Gothic Quarter, is kind of dark and dingy. I also recommend choosing the Barrio Santa Cruz and Plaza de Espana (so grand!) as locations and foregoing Alcazar (too many people and not as interesting).
No matter what, I recommend going with Gabriel if you want to come back with "wow factor" photos and get a tremendous value. We now have lifelong memories and I'm now scheming a way to get him to shoot the wedding.

He had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness: he was efficient with our time, and knew exactly where to have us stand and pose (he is highly experienced with photo shoots at this location and works like a well-oiled machine!); but he also kept the session feeling natural, fun, and spontaneous. He is a Spain native, so we got to chat with him in between photos about our favorite tapas. Most importantly, we couldn’t be happier with our photos! Gabriel made my husband and I look great, while also highlighting the characteristic beauty of Plaza de España we will now keep and remember forever.
During our recent trip to Sevilla, Gabriel took family pictures for us. He did such a great job with the actual pictures, we had a ton time selecting which ones to get. He was very responsive in scheduling the time and location. Also he was great with the kids and made sure we got great shots of the kids and as a family! We were planning our holiday in Seville and very spontaneously decided to do our pre-wedding shoot there just a few weeks back.
Gabriel has been an absolutely pleasure to work with - the pre-shoot process was easy and fuss-free. At the actual shoot he gave us clear instructions on how to pose for the best shot, and was even being an extra helping hand looking after our belongings onsite.

Gabriel takes great photos, and is very easy to work with. We contacted Gabriel ahead of the trip, he responded quickly, and we made the plans conveniently. He knows the best spots in Seville, and makes you feel comfortable during your shoot. He also gives great advice on how to have a better trip (culture, food, sights, etc). Can't recommend him enough!

We had a fantastic time with Gabriel. Not only did he make us feel comfortable, he also went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. He took us to a variety of different locations and suggested multiple poses. All in all, we had a great time!
Gabriel was wonderful! He was easy to reach for questions ahead of time, and was excellent in knowing timing for the light to be perfect for certain shots at our shoot location. It is a fantastic souvenir of our time in Spain and I would highly recommend him!

Gabriel is the best photographer, he captured beautiful moments of me in the Alcazar in Seville that I will keep forever! He was extremely attentive and detailed, and understood what were the best lighting, angles, and locations for the best photos! I highly recommend him for a photographer in Seville!
We loved our shoot with Gabriel! We had some issues getting started due to weather, we had to change locations. But Gabriel quickly suggested an alternative location and we still got the full shoot time at the new location. He finishing editing the pictures within days of the shoot which was amazing!

Gabriel was amazing to work with! I wanted a surprise proposal photoshoot and Gabriel took the time to scout the location and provide me with an accurate meeting location for the best lighting! It ended up raining on the day of the proposal (It wasn't supposed to) but Gabriel weathered the elements and still captured great photos that my Fiance and I are in love with. We would hire Gabriel anytime we are in Seville!
We loved Gabriel, who was also really good with our toddler son. The end result was fantastic and they will be going up on the wall as soon as we get home!
